Addition into the Hundreds

Once a Shape Math® user has learned how to put Shape Math® numbers one through 10 together they can go much further.  They can take groups of 10 and manipulate them with the same ease as lower numbers.  For example, 72+33. First, the person imagines groups of 10.(70+30) these combine together to make the pattern of 100.

Then the student combines together the (3) and the (2) to make (5)

You put the shapes together, 100 and 5 to get 105.

Shape Math® allows you to do every day calculations that most people take for granted.
